M2a's new office is at 25 Arthur Street, North Hobart.
Constructed as a workshop in 1951, the building was last used by Gills Upholstery until its closure in 2005. The site has 3 street frontages and is well suited to its intended use.
Stage 1 - works comprise extensive renovation / reconstruction including new services, new floor and new linings of the existing workshop building. (Completed)
Stage 2 works will add an apartment over and beside the existing building to create a better fit into the streetscape and residential nature of the neighbourhood.
